On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the Hong Kong Pharmacy Conference 2024, I am thrilled to inform you that our upcoming annual conference will be held on 24 - 25 February 2024 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. It is with great honor that I cordially invite you to support and participate in this important and exciting conference for our local pharmacy community.
The field of pharmacy is undergoing a remarkable transformation, driven by innovation, diversity, and the need for change. The rapid development of medical technology, including disruptive technologies and emerging trends such as artificial intelligence, ChatGPT, and virtual clinical pharmacy, are shaping the future of healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry. By embracing these new technologies and focusing on digital health, the pharmacy industry can transform how clinical services are provided. The theme of this year's conference, "Re-Imagine Pharmacy – Harnessing Innovation, Embracing Diversity" reflects the significant changes and opportunities that the field of pharmacy is experiencing in response to the rapidly changing healthcare landscape, improve patient care, and contribute to a better healthcare model. We hope that this conference will provide a platform for the profession to share experiences and lessons learned, discuss the challenges ahead, and share insights on how we can sustain and advance pharmaceutical care.
Programme Day 1 will feature key opinion leaders addressing topics such as strategic purchasing and its significance in future pharmaceutical service models and the future of healthcare powered by artificial intelligence. Programme Day 2 will be structured into three concurrent streams which cover Innovation & Technology, Advancement in Drug Regulation, Clinical Evidence Application, Primary HealthCare, Ambulatory Care Services, Application of Advanced Therapy and many more. It promises to be an inspiring and eye-opening conference for the pharmacy profession.
