On behalf of the Hong Kong Pharmacy Conference Organizing Committee, it is my pleasure to welcome you to join the 24th Hong Kong Pharmacy Conference 2012 to be held on 4-5 Feb 2012. This event is jointly organized by The Pharmaceutical Society of Hong Kong, The Practising Pharmacists Association of Hong Kong, The Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Hong Kong, School of Pharmacy of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Department of Health and Hospital Authority.


The theme of this year’s Conference is “Pharmacist: Your Healthcare Partner”. Pharmacist can play an important role in the primary health care. We can provide health education and counseling to increase people’s health literacy to empower themselves for better minor ailment management and disease prevention. This year, we have been working tirelessly to ensure that the program is advanced, practical and comprehensive so that each participant can gain new ideas as well as share their own experiences on pharmacy practice. We have invited eminent experts and professional leaders from local and abroad to share with us their visions and expertise during this annual prestigious event.
